Day 1: The Eiffel Tower

It’s the start of your students French adventure, as they arrive at Gare du Nord/Charles de Gaulle airport and hop on public transport to their hotel. On the way, the Learning Adventure guide will give your students some fascinating general knowledge about the area and get everyone up to speed with trip rules and safety guidelines.

Once students are all checked into the hotel, it’s time to start exploring! For their first activity, students will take a boat ride along the River Seine, where they will then stop off to climb the Eiffel Tower. Students can out over the city they’re about to explore, spotting landmarks and locations they’ll  be visiting.

Back on the ground, enjoy the view of the iconic Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero esplanade, before ending the day feasting on a well-earned welcome dinner.

Day 2: Sorbonne University Art Lecture

Today, students will start their day with a city tour, where they’ll get to stop off at all of Paris’ must-sees, like the Notre Dame, Latin Quarter, Place de la Concorde, la Concergerie, Avenue des Champs-Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Sainte Chapelle, and so much more.

After a morning exploring the city, students will then head for Sorbonne University, one of the most prestigious institutions in the world, to take a tour and enjoy an art and design lecture.

Finally, end the day by watching a stand-up comedy routine in English, performed by a French comedian.

Day 3: The Louvre & Silk Scarf Painting

It’s time to enrich the students art knowledge as they learn about French art at the Louvre. This is the world’s largest art museum, home to thousands of prehistory to 21st century works. While at the museum, they will get involved with a Learning Adventure scavenger hunt as a fun way to direct them to the most important pieces.

From iconic masterpieces to hands-on creativity, students will immerse themselves in Paris’ fashion scene through an interactive silk scarf painting workshop – trying a unique art form many have never experienced before.

In the evening, students will enjoy dinner in the vibrant Montparnasse district before heading up the Montparnasse Tower at sunset for sweeping views across the City of Light.

Day 4: The Palace of Versailles

Students will take a day trip to the Palace of Versailles to explore its lavish interiors and uncover the stories behind its royal past. They’ll get a taste of the king’s bold style and artistic flair on a guided tour.

After an fun and informative day at the Palace of Versailles, students will travel back to Paris for dinner in the Latin Quarter.

Yesterday, students were learning about royalty. Today, they’re wandering through the streets of Paris on a street art tour, led by a French art history graduate student.

Students will get a taste of French culture with a friendly game of pétanque along the scenic banks of the River Seine.

On their final evening, students will enjoy a classic French meal before wandering through Montmartre, the city’s historic artists’ quarter, and watching the sunset from the stunning Sacré Coeur Basilica.
