Educational Tours Specialist
Immerse your students in the stories of the past as they stand in the shadow of the Colosseum or explore the artistic treasures of the Vatican City. Rome school trips provide a firsthand encounter with the subjects studied in the classroom, creating a dynamic and enriching learning experience. Beyond academia, our tours offer transformative travel experiences, including cultural immersion, culinary exploration, and interactive workshops. Some of our students’ favourite activities include tasting the incredible gricia pasta and attending Gladiator School to learn about the history of the Roman army and experience wearing authentic costumes while practising (rubber!) sword fighting.
The Romans have a phrase for the unseasonably warm autumn sunshine that arrives in October – “Ottobrata Romana” – making it a great time of year to visit as there aren’t huge crowds but the weather is still good. In general, April-October provides good weather.
We will travel around Rome mostly on foot, and sometimes by using the Metro – even this can elicit Roman treasures, with Line C showing visitors archaeological treasures on display as you descend underground. For larger groups, we can use a private coach for longer journeys.
