At The Learning Adventure, we’ve developed a whole series of school trips, in the UK, around specific subject areas. From discovering drama in the home of Shakespeare, meeting start-ups in the centre of East London’s tech scene to getting off the beaten track in a pioneering farm in rural Somerset- our trips have something for everyone. Here\u2019s just a few of our school trips ideas that we can offer students:<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Discover why the UK’s central bank is so crucial in keeping the economy healthy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun Fact: London is the location of the most bank HQs in the world<\/a>! 9 of the world\u2019s top 100 banks are in London.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Museum of Brands<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Learn about marketing and the evolution of consumer society. Then put that knowledge into action with a customer profiling workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

London is THE place to be for start-ups looking to make it big. Find an opportunity for your students to chat to one of them. The Mithraeum is an underground temple dedicated to the god Mithras. Marvel at Ancient Roman artifacts and the projections that show you what the temple used to be like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the world-famous reconstruction of the Elizabethan playhouse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fun Fact: There\u2019s a pit for people to stand and watch the play and seats surrounding them. The people who stood in the pit were called the \u201cpenny stinkers\u201d, because, in Shakespeare\u2019s day, they\u2019d only have to pay a penny to get in and apparently they didn\u2019t smell great!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oxford Day Trip<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Home to one of the most prestigious universities in the world as well as the memories of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, take a guided walking tour of the city to discover all of the most literary spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

West End<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watch a West End show, and maybe even go back stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>4) Go on a Film & Photography school trip in London<\/a><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Ealing Studios<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take a tour of one of the oldest film studios in the world. It began in 1902!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

British Film Institute<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BFI is the lead film organisation in the UK, so you\u2019ve got to see a movie here. You could also be participating in a study day, full of screenings, Q&As and interactive activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warner Brothers Studio<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

V&A Museum Photography Centre<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is where the Royal Photographic Society\u2019s collection is displayed, and it\u2019s a must-see for fine-art fanatics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
